NPSE Zone ESPN Personality of the Day

Tony Reali, host of ESPN's Around The Horn and Pardon The Interuption's stat boy is Monday's NPSE Zone ESPN Personality of the Day.

Reali, 29, graduated from Fordham University in 2000 with degrees in both communications and history. At Fordham, Reali was a sportscaster for the campus radio station.

Reali joined ESPN in 2000 as a researcher and writer for the game show "2 Minute Drill," hosted by Stuart Scott. In 2001, Reali joined PTI alongside hosts Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser as the show's factchecker at the end of each episode.

In 2004, Reali replaced Around The Horn host Max Kellerman after he left for Fox.

Chargers RB Wins Male Athlete of the Year

The 2007 edition of the ESPY Awards debuted Sunday night on ESPN, with San Diego Chargers' running back Ladainian Tomlinson taking home for awards, including male athlete of the year.

Comedian Jimmy Kimmel and basketball superstar LeBron James hosted the annual awards show recorded Wednesday in Los Angeles. Among the highlights of the show included a shower scene with Kimmel and race car driver Danica Patrick, both naked in a locker room shower.

Backstage, Stuart Scott named Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat the event's best dressed star.

NPSE Zone ESPN Personality of the Day

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has been pulling double-duty as of late, serving on the panel for SportsCenter's Who's Now series.

Herbstreit joined ESPN in 1995, shortly after finishing a career as a four-year letterman as quarterback of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Herbstreit joins ESPN's Michael Wilbon, Keyshawn Johnson and Stuart Scott on the Who's Now panel, analyzing each day which athletes have most worldwide notoriety.

ESPN's NBA Coverage Exceeds its Stanley Cup Duo

As the NBA Finals, between the San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers, begin Thursday night on ABC, ESPN has stationed Stuart Scott, Greg Anthony and Tim Legler behind a desk in San Antonio to work as commentators on Sportscenter.

Why didn't the NHL get the same treatment from ESPN?

For the Stanley Cup, ESPN only sent Steve Levy and Barry Melrose to cover the Anaheim Ducks and the Ottawa Senators. Levy and Melrose didn't even get a desk in the arenas. The only got a few minutes to discuss the series on Sportscenter from a random spot in the seats, while the NBA coverage on the network on Sportscenter alone Wednesday night totaled about 10 minutes.

What gives?
