Cowherd Says He Has Three Ideas for Dan Patrick's Replacement

Mike Tirico to Replace Dan Patrick?

ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd said Thursday he has three ideas for potential candidates to replace Dan Patrick as the new host of his radio show, but wouldn't say who his three candidates are.

Among possibilities is Monday Night Football play-by-play man Mike Tirico, sportswriter and PTI substitute Dan Le Batard and possible SportsCenter's Scott Van Pelt.

Patrick announced this week his intentions to leave ESPN for good Aug. 17.
